Nissan's SR20DET is the powerplant for the Pulsar GTI-R and later models of 200SX/Silvia, and this all-alloy 2.0ltr 16V lump can do up to around 450bhp on standard internals with a surprising amount of reliability. Oddly, the main weak point on these engines has nothing to do with power, and that is the rocker arms breaking in the head, usually from over-revving or hitting the rev limiter, but fitting rocker arm stoppers is a cheap and simple solution to that one.
